alt

On 8th December 2011, our Lecturers and students from our Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management (ADHTM), Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management (DHTM) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management (PGDHM), visited Grand Hyatt Hotel Singapore. The students spent the entire afternoon at the Hotel understanding how a 5-star hotel run and maintan their daily operations.

A guided tour was conducted by the Hotel Management to various back-end operation departments, such as their House-Keeping department, where the students got first-hand experience to see and experience a full-scale House-Keeping department in operation. The students were also given rare opportunities to operate the machines.

The students also visited the Hotel's Engine and Boiler room, which are strictly out-of-bound to the general public. The Hotel Management gave an in-depth tour of the places  and our students have a deeper understanding on how the Hotel maintain and manages the various facilities within the Hotel.
